  • Brooks Battlegroup provides professional firearms training and education for law enforcement, military, security professionals, and responsible civilians. Our training emphasizes practical application, mindset development, and scenario-based drills with more time on the range and less time in the classroom.

  • Our open-enrollment courses are available to responsible civilians, active/retired law enforcement and military, and security professionals. Some advanced or role-specific courses require proof of agency affiliation or prior experience—see each course description for prerequisites.

  • Our home base is located in Okeechobee, Florida . We operate at designated partner ranges and training facilities. We also provide onsite, private, and mobile training for agencies, companies, and executive clients. Contact us with location details and we’ll propose options.

  • Booking Requirement: All course bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled start time.

    Cancellation Notice: Cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled course start time.

    Notification Method: To cancel, you must provide notice via phone call or email.

    No Refund Policy: Brooks Battlegroup LLC does not offer monetary refunds for any reason.

    Rescheduling: If you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, you may reschedule your training one time per booking. Subsequent rescheduling requests will require a new booking fee.

    Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and "no-shows" will result in the forfeiture of all registration fees and are not eligible for rescheduling.

  • Yes. All participants must sign a liability waiver and safety agreement before participating. Agencies and corporate clients may be required to provide insurance information or an MOU.

  • We offer range safety/RSO training; beginner–advanced handgun, rifle, and shotgun; 2-Gun (rifle/handgun integration); precision rifle; CCW/EDC skills; vehicle dynamics and vehicle-based problem sets; CQB and tactical applications; executive-protection firearms application; and private one-on-one training tailored to individual goals.

  • Yes. Advanced and tactical courses typically require prior training or demonstrable experience. Course pages list prerequisites—if you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll recommend the right class.

  • Bring your serviceable firearm(s), magazines, holster, magazine carrier, and a belt appropriate for your gear. If you don’t have gear we can often provide rentals—arrange in advance.

  • Eye and ear protection (ANSI-rated eyewear and double-sided hearing protection recommended) and closed-toe shoes are required. Long pants and a shirt with sleeves are strongly recommended. Gloves, hat, and a hydration source are recommended for longer classes.

    1. Ammunition recommendations vary by course. Typical guidelines:

    • Basic handgun/intro course: 150–300 rounds

    • Intermediate/defensive handgun: 300–500 rounds

    • Advanced/tactical handgun: 500+ rounds

    • Rifle courses: 250–600+ rounds depending on drill density

    • Precision/long-range: variable (bring extra for zeroing and practice) We list recommended ammo counts on each course page—contact us if you need a specific number.

  • We enforce strict range safety rules: positive weapon control, clear commands, safe handling procedures, and live-fire only under supervised conditions. Instructors will stop any activity that becomes unsafe.

  • Private sessions are fully tailored to your stated goals—fundamentals, speed/accuracy, qualification prep, or advanced application. We assess your skill level, create a focused plan, and run drills with immediate feedback and coaching.

  • Yes. We design mission-specific programs for law enforcement units, security teams, corporate clients, and executive protection details. Contact us with mission requirements, team size, and scheduling needs for a proposal.

  • We strive to accommodate qualified participants with disabilities. Contact us in advance to discuss specific needs so we can make reasonable accommodations.

  • Typically no. Some training venues that accommodate us, do. We’ll supply logistical details in your confirmation email.

  • Prices vary by course, duration, and class size. See individual course pages for current pricing. Private and onsite training rates depend on scope and travel—contact us for a custom quote.

  • We accept major credit cards, PayPal and electronic payments online. For agency, corporate, or large-group bookings we can invoice per agreed terms.

  • Yes—by request and subject to availability and local law. Rental fees, training ammo, and additional equipment costs will be provided upon request.

  • Disclose any medical conditions or medications that could affect safe participation when you book and again on arrival. We can often accommodate, but safety is paramount—some conditions may preclude live-fire participation.

  • Instructors are trained in trauma first aid and stop the bleed techniques. For larger or higher-risk events we coordinate medical professionals or ambulance coverage as required.

  • Yes. Private clients receive individualized feedback and a recommended plan to continue development. Group courses typically include debriefs and suggested follow-up training.
