concealed Carry weapons License- above the standard
This Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) course provides the legal, safety, and practical training required to apply for a concealed carry permit. Our curriculum is taught in accordance with state and federal regulations and standards. students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
While we meet the required standard, we also go beyond it by emphasizing real-world practical application and the first stages of understanding Everyday Carry (EDC). In addition to core safety and legal instruction, students will learn how concealed carry fits into day-to-day life—covering foundational considerations like responsible carry mindset, basic gear concepts, and how to think through practical carry decisions in a safe, lawful, and intentional way.
Students will learn firearm safety fundamentals, safe handling and storage, and the responsibilities that come with carrying a concealed handgun. The course covers state and federal specific laws on possession and carry, prohibited locations, interaction with law enforcement, transportation rules, and the legal standards for use of force and self-defense. Students will also receive instruction on situational awareness, conflict avoidance/de-escalation, and considerations for everyday carry.
A 30-round live-fire qualification is required for successful completion. The qualification is administered at the end of each class and includes shooting from 7 feet to 21 feet.
Upon successful completion of the course and qualification, students will receive the appropriate documentation/certificate for permit application where applicable.
